Diploma Description

The role of the Executive Personal Assistant is both a demanding and rewarding one. It requires a competent and highly organised individual with exceptional foresight, working unsupervised in a pressurised environment. A Personal Assistant is a professional who acts as a 'life-organiser' to the senior management or company directors. They manage and oversee everything from making travel arrangements to minute taking at boardroom level. A good PA will always be one-step ahead of their manager and who knows and understands how everything works. The Executive PA will need to have advanced IT skills as well as highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills coupled with a high sense of discretion and confidentiality. Shorthand is an excellent skill that will give you an extra advantage when applying for that all important job. The Pitman Training Executive PA Diploma will give you a broad range of skills to take to your dream job. You will learn up to date Microsoft Office applications, as well as learning the more traditional secretarial skills of shorthand and touch-typing. In addition, you can extend your business skills through one day seminars, advanced IT training and specific profession training. Learning these skills is easy with Pitman Training.
